MIA Zambia Shoot

On the 5th of February I got the opportunity to cover a shoot in Zambia by clothing company MIA.
A briefing on MIA:
"The MIA story begins in Africa, a continent that holds infinite beauty and adventure. It is also a continent breeding a generation of inspired individuals who are breaking conservative moulds.

The MIA trousers take cognisance of contemporary trends, incorporating the high-waisted fit of a bygone era. They also provided a solution to the trade-off between waist fit and leg room that many men experience. The perfect fit for any man. The creation of the initial pair of MIA trousers was entrusted to a local tailor of a South African brand. A brand that epitomised the quintessential debonair of the modern day. The perfect fit.

To pay respect to their founding roots, MIA continues to collaborate with a number of highly skilled African tailors."

As a blogger on the shoot I had the opportunity to see the creation of this amazing shoot, beautifully shot at a secret location. Jungle themed/rich kids.

Fashion For Brunch

Hello guys!
On Saturday the 17th of September, I attended the annual Fashion for Brunch hosted by Mafashio. Fashion for Brunch is an event where bloggers come together to interact. This years event was even bigger than last years with 20 of Zambias most popular fashion bloggers in attendance.

Beautiful artwork by The Letterist

Gift bags ( The Letterist and Woolworths Zambia)

The event was sponsored by Vodafone Zambia, Woolworths and Protea Hotels. It was amazing and I really enjoyed myself as well as the great gift bags containing goodies from Woolworths and The Letterist. The photography was done by Kabelenga of Kwitu group, including most of the pictures in this post. We all got to know more about each other and things like Zambia Fashion Week with a talk from Liswaniso and personal branding with a talk from Miss Kundwe. There was also some education on what Vodafone Zambia is doing and Vodafone Jump from Mwiza and Mutale of Vodafone.
Overall it was amazing and I'm looking forward to working more with these people now, enjoy the beautiful pictures.

My Siavonga Mini Vacay

 Hello Guys!
Recently I got lucky enough to visit the beautiful place called Siavonga, one of Zambias beautiful locations. it was a school graduating class trip which included a dinner party at lake Kariba Inns, boat cruise and beach party.
Lake Kariba Inns Poolside Area

The place is very beautiful with Lake Kariba Inns being one of the best places to stay at there I would rank it at the top. It's very beautiful with many guest pools and a beautiful view of the beach.
Graduation Dinner
The graduation dinner at lake kariba inns was lovely, the food was lovely and the outside set up as well. the weather in Siavonga was friendly enough to allow an outside gathering.

Outside Skyview Lodge

We lodged at Skyview Lodge which also has amazing hospitality and is beautiful.

Lake Kariba Boat Cruise
The boat cruise which was my favorite part was on the lake Kariba, the water body stretches so wide and deep. It has many crocodiles and hippos too so we had to be super careful when we played on the beach in case of any accident.

I would recommend that everyone visit this place, especially if you are visiting Zambia for the first time. It is a beautiful and relaxing place.
